John Keegan's Bookshelves

Sir John Keegan

I think it's cool how Sir John Keegan and I have something in common ... no place to put all our books.  Practically every shelf is filled to the brim.  Books on the floor and on the desk.  Piles of 'em.  Stacks of papers, too.  And I'll bet that's  the "neat" corner of his study.  I love it!

On the Passing of Sir John Keegan (15 May 1934 – 2 August 2012)

John Keegan
Renowned military historian, John Keegan has passed away.  A colleague of his, Mr. Con Coughlin of the London Telegraph, has published a tribute.

I was just getting to know Mr. Keegan --- reading recently his Six Armies at Normandy and The Face of Battle.  Through these, I am finding out that he was a man very much worth knowing.
